Welcome to Raising a Team, a family blog exploring our experiences as we navigate parenting our birth and newly adopted children.

Our aim is to inspire and support others parenting birth or adopted children, with a particular focus on the early years. We want you to feel encouraged and know that you are not alone in your journey.

Our name – Raising a Team – is born out of building our family values around supporting, loving and encouraging each other, working together, loving Jesus, and teaching our children to love and respect both themselves and those around them.
